What's in LinkIT
High-level list of what this build includes. It reads the capabilities manifest and the default plan gates in code. It does not apply founder overrides, it has no refresh button, and it is not the Founder Capabilities console. Parked items are left off. A gated capability can still be off on your plan.
2nd Brain Playbook
Product-owned teaching tab on 03 Admin. Version is stamped on the tab (packVersion). Set up / Update playbook on the Journals cover when the shipped version is newer. Sheets are read-only, not deletable, not spongable. Source of updates is lib/playbook.ts in the app build, not a gist at runtime.

2nd Brain Power
Parent toggle for Brain Dump, Brain Sponge, Ask, Distill, Related, Resurface, and Purify. Off means those wedges stay off even if a child flag is on.

2nd Brain Transplant
Export and import the workspace as a JSON capture (journals, pages, labels, trash, dump sheets). This is not multi-device cloud merge. The public gist seed pack is teaching copy, not a live data move.

Ask
Ask a plain-language question over this workspace’s journal sheet write notes (including Brain Dump capture) and Pages (stickies, categories, and page notes). Citations name journal → tab → sheet (and the layer when packed), or Pages → page → item. Private and playbook items are skipped. Brain Dump stays temporary capture, not a lasting home.

Bookmarks
Saved bookmarks for share links.

Bot session
A valid bot key can identify itself, read session rules, read connector setup, read this capabilities list, and read legal document status. There is no Guest handshake without a key. Other bot tools follow their own plan gates.

Brain Dump
System capture journal. Sponge wrings each item onto its own Dump sheet. There is no reserved Home tab or Home sheet. Write notes only — no stickies, no categories. Not a lasting home.

Brain Sponge
Absorbs Pages stickies and/or journal write notes and wrings each item into its own Brain Dump sheet. It does not merely copy. Frozen, Private, and playbook sheets are left alone. Lasting notes still belong on COAT journal sheets.

C.O.A.T.
Filing shape for journals: 01 Client (one tab per customer), 02 Output (one sheet per project), 03 Admin (how the shop runs), 04 Team (people and rituals). After 2nd Brain setup these four journals cannot be deleted from the UI. The 2nd Brain plan cannot add journals beyond C.O.A.T. Author can add 50 user journals, Innovator 100, Visionary unlimited (reserved).

Clear Data
PIN-protected wipe of selected workspace slices on Restore Points: Pages, Journals including C.O.A.T., and Brain Dump as its own target. Asks to save a restore point first. Off unless Restore Points is on.

Collaborate
An Innovator or Visionary workspace can invite someone who already has a LinkIT account on 2nd Brain or above. Author does not host. Shares are a different thing: public read-only links.

Discord Integration
Workspace Discord webhook and invite settings under Account → Integrations.

Distill
Turns an Ask result or selected sheet write notes into a lasting summary and files it on a COAT journal write note. It does not file onto Pages stickies, into Brain Dump as a home, or onto the playbook tab.

Draw
Drawing canvas on a journal sheet.

Draw → Write
Inserts pictures from the sheet drawing into that sheet’s Write note.

Freeze / Thaw
Freeze a journal, tab, or sheet so Brain Sponge leaves it alone. Thaw turns that back off. Playbook sheets stay locked without Freeze.

Journals
Lasting notes live on journal sheets (journal → tab → sheet → write layer). Stickies and categories are not stored here. This is the home of the 2nd brain.

MCP
Grok and other bots connect over the LinkIT MCP endpoint with a lit_ key minted in Account → Integrations. The full cloud tool list needs Grok MCP on. The public 2nd Brain Transplant gist is a seed pack, not a live data move.

Pages
Pages hold links, stickies, and categories. Stickies and categories are Pages only — not Brain Dump and not other journals.
Every plan, including Guest. Guest and Lite have a small page cap. Default plans on: Every plan.
Plans
Guest, Lite, 2nd Brain (internal key pro), Author (family), Innovator (team), and Visionary (enterprise, reserved). 2nd Brain includes C.O.A.T. journals only. Author adds Voice, Translate, 2nd Brain Transplant, and Split Mode (2 panes). Status Board starts at 2nd Brain. Collaborate, Restore Points, and Clear Data start at Innovator. Visionary Split is 3 panes. Founder Split is 3 panes. This row is the plan matrix itself.

Purify
Cleans Brain Dump only, after Brain Sponge and before Distill. Strips empty shells, collapses obvious duplicates, and redacts secret-looking strings inside Dump. It does not file notes onto journal sheets or invent a C.O.A.T. home. Frozen, Private, and playbook sheets are left alone.

QR
QR codes on links.

Reader
E-book reader.

Related
For the open journal sheet, lists related sheets and backlinks (who points here, including Distill sources). Stickies are not the graph. Playbook is skipped.

Restore points
Saved workspace restore points. This is not the Trash restore button.

Resurface
Brings back journal sheets you have not opened or edited recently, with a short why and the path journal → tab → sheet. Playbook and Private sheets stay out.

Shares
Public read-only links for a page, journal, sheet, note, category, or drawing. They do not grant write access.

Split Mode
Side-by-side workspace panes. Author and Innovator get two panes. Visionary gets three. Founder matches Visionary at three. 2nd Brain and below have no Split. Status Board can be one of the screens.

Status Board
Kanban of items that have a Status Tag. Status Tags can be applied to journals, tabs, sheets, layers, and sections, and they can be renamed. The board lives at /status-board and can open as its own window or as a Split screen.

Sync
Cloud sync of the workspace. Guest and Lite stay on this device. Bot list/get/search/update tools follow this flag.
